The main physical and chemical properties of nylon:

2. Nylon has high strength, greater elongation, and excellent elasticity. Its breaking strength is about 42～56cN/tex, and its elongation at break is 25%～65%. It is an ideal material for making wear-resistant products, but the initial modulus of nylon is small, it is easy to deform, and its fabric is not stiff;

3. The hygroscopicity and dyeability of nylon is better among common synthetic fibers, and the moisture regain rate is about 4 or 5% under general atmospheric conditions; in addition, the dyeability of nylon is also good, and acid dyes, disperse dyes and Dyeing with other dyes;

4. Light resistance and heat resistance, etc.Because the end groups of nylon macromolecules are more sensitive to light and heat, the nylon becomes yellow and brittle.
